"Good things are coming your way."
I have been quite the busy bee lately. While I was searching for a full-time job I got the opportunity to do some graphic design work for a full figure and nursing bra company called Leading Lady. I have used graphic design in my past marketing positions, but this was solely design-focused. I learned so much while I was there!
My previous marketing positions were in very technical industries. I went from safety apparel and equipment to lighting, to very feminine intimate apparels. Above are designs that I created for the company and I am pretty proud of myself. I think I improved from my first day there to my last. It's always good to be able to see that progress in yourself. It was a new experience designing for a completely different industry. They are in the process of creating a new website and I'm excited to see where they go as a company.
Where am I headed next? You'll have to find out in my next blog post. I am happy to say I have finally found a full-time marketing position that is the right fit for me. I will be writing a blog post on my new job soon!
In the meantime, I want to say that having a positive attitude is the best thing you can do for yourself. I was laid off for the second time in less than two years out of college, along with struggling with forces in my personal life, and I still tried to have the best attitude I could. I would tell people my situation and they would keep saying, "Good things are coming your way." And they did. Always believe in the power of a positive mind.
