In-Home Newborn Session in Hendersonville

The weather didn't stop me from coming over and capturing sweet little moments of Arabella in her nursery. It was a very rainy morning, but you wouldn't know it was gray outside. Arabella's cute face seemed to brighten up the skies and let the sun shine in whenever you looked at her. She was sleeping when I arrived so we started with taking pictures of her in her crib and went from there.

Her mom rocked her in the rocking chair like any other day and I got to freeze those seemingly routine moments that are actually so precious and important. We made sure to get pictures of her in her heir-loomed bonnet and bib, some shots of her in a cute crochet dress her grandmother made her and in a Harry Potter themed background. I had seen this Harry Potter-themed newborn picture and saved it to my Pinterest only days before Arabella's mom sent the exact same idea my way for our shoot. I was super happy to make it come to life!

I loved working with this couple and their new adorable baby girl! I didn't know if I'd want to pursue newborn photography, but I am absolutely in love! I enjoy the photojournalist style of a newborn shoot where I document life and don't "pose" the baby as much. I posted a maternity and newborn package deal on the Risen Vintage Facebook page that includes 50 digital edited images and a 60-minute session for both the maternity and newborn experiences.
